JD threw for the first time in a scrimmage this Fall and said his arm felt good.  He said he had some trouble commanding the inside of the plate but he had two strikeouts, a ground out and a single in his inning of work. The last scrimmage game will be Friday and he may go another inning if he feels like it.  His hitting isn't probably going to get him in the lineup but he had fun this Fall playing.  He had an awkward slide last week and thought he broke a rib but apparently it was just bruised according to the doctor.  I guess it must not be too bad if could could pitch yesterday.

The weather has been cooperating very well for us and although it was pretty cloudy, we got in another shoot last night.  It was for one of our Model Team members and we had a really good session with her.  She is one of my assistants and is on most shoots with me but this time she got to be the subject.  Her pictures are going to be really pretty.

Our last scheduled shoot is October 29th, meaning we still have 15 more shoots to get in.  After that, I will have much more time available but Jodi will still be swamped, likely into December.  After that, it will be time to relax, reflect on the past year and start implementing any changes we want to make.  We will also begin work on next year's marketing plan and all of the materials that will need to be produced. 

Harley hasn't been doing very well and a visit to the vet discovered that she is diabetic.  So, now she gets an insulin shot twice a day.  She started getting shots last Friday and you can already see a big change in her.  She goes back to the vet Friday to see how she is doing and if they want to make any adjustments in the dosage of insulin.
