The summer is winding down and in less than 3 weeks, JD will be returning to college.  He recently was given clearance to begin throwing again and his first throwing session went well.  He continues physical therapy once per week until he goes back and we're hopeful that he will be able to have a good fall with no arm issues.  I know he is looking forward to having a private bedroom this year and having more privacy. 

Our business has been keeping us rather busy of late as we've done quite a few photo shoots in the last couple weeks with another lined up for tomorrow.  I'm finding there is always something to do, whether it be create a new document for our clients or set up our sales software with all of our products itemized for a more customized receipt.  I've also been working more on our website and SEO.  We're currently ranked #6 on Google, #2 on Yahoo and #2 on Bing.  Pretty good results to date.

It's Friday and time to have some fun to kick off the weekend.  Enjoy!

If you're a regular reader of the blog, you know that we have transformed out studio and client viewing area recently.  It's been a lot of work, shopping, frustration at times, etc... but I think the results have made it worth it.  I'm sure you can tell that our clientele is predominantly female as the color scheme and decor is obviously geared toward them more than the boys.   Business is picking up significantly and tonight we're hosting a viewing party for one of our models and expect a good crowd for the reveal of her photo session. We have a busy week scheduled for us, mostly with business related work.  We have a viewing party scheduled for Wednesday for one of our Senior Models who will be bringing at least 6 of her friends with her to view the images from her session.  We're hopeful that many of them will schedule a session with us while there.  We also have a pre-consultation and two shoots this week.  It looks like after today the weather is going to be milder, only in the mid 80's and less humid, which will make the outdoor sessions much more comfortable.

I'm going to do an abbreviated Photo Friday today as I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to do so tomorrow.

But most people now agree it didn’t need to be completely upended by a 2000-page bill that nobody read. Washington, DC’s, leaders protected the little guy by requiring Wal-Mart to pay half again more than the minimum wage. Wal-Mart responded by canceling plans to build several stores in DC, costing the little guy thousands of jobs and higher food bills. Polls showed 60 percent of Americans supported immigration reform. But a new Rasmussen poll found that only 39 percent support the bill the Senate just passed. Americans are starting to wise up to the fact that our current political leaders are like George Washington’s doctors: their cures are worse than the disease.
