Well, the Christmas break is over and it's back to the daily grind.  We did have a great Christmas though as we enjoyed time with our families.  Our St. Louis trip was a a fun one and I got to spoil Jodi by taking her to the Louis Vuitton store to get her Christmas gifts.  She never spends much money so I helped her change that.  She also got me a nice Christmas present, a Smith & Wesson Performance Center 1911 that will probably be my EDC once my new custom holster for it arrives.

Kyle and his girlfriend came to visit us on his birthday and we took them and JD and Megan to dinner at a restaurant at the casino where JD works.  The head chef is a Hell's Kitchen contestant and it is definitely fine dining.  Kyle and his girlfriend both had filet minion with tiger shrimp, JD had Alaskan King Crab, Megan has salmon, and Jodi and I both had the 16oz ribeye.  It was all fantastic.  The bill was $363 before tip. Worth every penny.

We spent our anniversary on the 30th with some Jeep friends who joined us at an Italian restaurant we had never been to before.  It food was very good and we enjoyed spending a couple hours with people who are becoming good friends.

We were boring old people on New Year's Eve, choosing to stay home and watch TV mostly.  I barely stayed awake to kiss Jodi at midnight and then rolled over and went right to sleep.  The following day we opened Christmas gifts with Jayson, JD and Megan as we waited to give certain presents to Jayson until after he got his big gift from Jodi's parents as some of what we bought went with that gift.
