Today I had a client consultation followed by a Sportraits photo shoot.  I have a session scheduled for tomorrow but they are predicting about 3 1/2" of rain here so it isn't looking good for that one.  Jodi has been tied to her desk chair this week and will be for some time as we have tons of sessions ahead and she is trying to keep pace. Here is a recent favorite pic of mine.

We will have Jayson spending the upcoming weekend with us as JD and Megan are heading to a friend's wedding in Green Bay.  It will be fun to have him for the extended time. 

See, I already forgot about updating my blog.  A busy life is getting in the way, well, at least I'm going to blame it on that.  We had 4 photo shoots this past week and I have five this week.  We have many more scheduled through August and into the Fall so things are looking pretty good business wise.

Today I slept in until about 8:30am as Jodi and I didn't get to sleep until close to 1am after going out to dinner with friends followed by an evening at Knucklehead's to see our favorite classic rock band.  I slept pretty good thanks to the Bud Light.  I wound up going to a friend's this afternoon and while he worked on his rear axle and locker, I installed a 1" body lift on my Jeep and then trimmed up my rear pinch seams some more for more clearance.  All told, I probably gained 1 3/4" of clearance.  Fortunately, it barely clears our garage door but it won;t with any top on.

Speaking of tops, I picked up a like new MOPAR premium twill top today for $100.  A club member who just got rid of his Jeep put it up for sale and I was first on the post to snag it.  Didn't know it was a premium top until I picked it up.  It did not have the surrounds with it but I already have an extra set.  What a deal.

I'm looking forward to an upcoming trip to SMORR where I'm going to get to wheel with some of the bigger name Jeepers who are well known from Youtube and Instagram.  Hope I can keep up with those that are running 43's and 46's!

Back to the Colorado adventure.  So here is a pic of the closest I've come to rolling over.  The left rear tire was off the ground and we were maybe teetering a little.  Jodi was on the verge of freaking out a little.  I backed down due to that but later discussion amongst the boys felt that I could have made it as my right front tire was ready to go up and level me out.

I see it has been a couple months since I updated my blog.  Frankly, I have forgotten about it until now.  My routine has been broken so I need to create a new one.

We just returned from an awesome trip to Colorado.  Jodi survived it and only had a slight meltdown, again on the same trail, Red Cone.  Not as bad this time but she said this was the last time she was doing that trail.  LOL  I'll admit, it can freak out some people and make them quite anxious due to the narrow road and the height.  Even the guys I was wheeling with said that they were nervous and one guy who said he looked down once said that was one too many.

Well, I FINALLY received some pension payments, three to be exact.  It was a surprise because I was told to expect four on June 1st.  I guess going forward, I should see regular monthly payments to our checking account.  

Today we also received the closing documents for our PPP loan, only a month after starting the process.  What a frustrating experience that was.  The bank tech team is horrible.  We wound up having to do it manually and we should have the funds in 1-2 business days.  It's suppose to be forgivable and that's the only reason we applied.  It'll get handed back if it isn't.

Just dawned on me that my blog has been severely neglected.  There's been a lot going on but I've forgotten to share as I don;t have a normal morning routine like I used to every day. 

We are back to photographing clients.  We are busy through this month and the summer is a little spotty.  We are hoping that our schedule starts to book up now things are slowly getting back to normal.  I have a photo shoot for a couple of our models today.

I've been spending a good amount of time helping my friend do his one ton axle swap so he is able to go to SMORR this weekend with us.  Last night, he drove it out of his garage.  The ARB air locker lines still need ran and the PSC hydraulic ram needs the lines connected to it but he is close.  Looks and drives like a beast.

Looking forward to wheeling at SMORR this weekend.  Our club has about 45 members going down.  I can't wait to try some new trails and obstacles I've been wanting to do. 

Just realized I haven't posted in a while.  I just got back from fishing at the neighborhood lakes and caught zilch.  Not even a bite.  3rd trip and same result.  I don;t think the bass fishing is as good as it used to be.

We went for a bit of a Jeep ride today.  Stayed pretty local but rode around for an hour or so.  Stopped and picked up a couple things we needed while out.  Then shortly after getting home, a friend stopped by on his way home from work so we visited for about an hour.  Don;t get to do much of that lately.

They are lifting the stay at home order in our county on May 4th and    Kansas City is scheduled for May 15th.  I am hopeful after that we can get back to business. 

Next weekend we are wanting to go offroading at Tuttle.  The weather looks great next week so it should be a good time. 

Well, it's cold again in Kansas City which sucks.  We've enjoyed getting out and walking and I have also enjoyed playing in the garage.  Now it's not so fun.  I did put my Dominion Offroad hilift jack mount back on my Jeep today and installed the jack.  I also installed the grab fists so I can mount a shovel and axe to the jack.  My maul doesn't fit too well but the shovel is fine.  Guess I need to buy an axe that fits.

I spent some time on tax prep this morning.  I ned to have some figures available since I applied for the Paycheck Protection Program that is part of the stimulus package.  I'm not going to leave potentially free money on the table.  If it isn't forgiven, I'll just hand it back over to them.

I had Jodi work on a new logo design for my social media brand.  I think it fits the Nemesis name but my swag sales might be limited a little.  LOL  I still like it as it fits the name and my "evil" looking Jeep.
