Well, I FINALLY received some pension payments, three to be exact.  It was a surprise because I was told to expect four on June 1st.  I guess going forward, I should see regular monthly payments to our checking account.  

Today we also received the closing documents for our PPP loan, only a month after starting the process.  What a frustrating experience that was.  The bank tech team is horrible.  We wound up having to do it manually and we should have the funds in 1-2 business days.  It's suppose to be forgivable and that's the only reason we applied.  It'll get handed back if it isn't.

Just dawned on me that my blog has been severely neglected.  There's been a lot going on but I've forgotten to share as I don;t have a normal morning routine like I used to every day. 

We are back to photographing clients.  We are busy through this month and the summer is a little spotty.  We are hoping that our schedule starts to book up now things are slowly getting back to normal.  I have a photo shoot for a couple of our models today.

I've been spending a good amount of time helping my friend do his one ton axle swap so he is able to go to SMORR this weekend with us.  Last night, he drove it out of his garage.  The ARB air locker lines still need ran and the PSC hydraulic ram needs the lines connected to it but he is close.  Looks and drives like a beast.

Looking forward to wheeling at SMORR this weekend.  Our club has about 45 members going down.  I can't wait to try some new trails and obstacles I've been wanting to do. 

Just realized I haven't posted in a while.  I just got back from fishing at the neighborhood lakes and caught zilch.  Not even a bite.  3rd trip and same result.  I don;t think the bass fishing is as good as it used to be.

We went for a bit of a Jeep ride today.  Stayed pretty local but rode around for an hour or so.  Stopped and picked up a couple things we needed while out.  Then shortly after getting home, a friend stopped by on his way home from work so we visited for about an hour.  Don;t get to do much of that lately.

They are lifting the stay at home order in our county on May 4th and    Kansas City is scheduled for May 15th.  I am hopeful after that we can get back to business. 

Next weekend we are wanting to go offroading at Tuttle.  The weather looks great next week so it should be a good time. 

Well, it's cold again in Kansas City which sucks.  We've enjoyed getting out and walking and I have also enjoyed playing in the garage.  Now it's not so fun.  I did put my Dominion Offroad hilift jack mount back on my Jeep today and installed the jack.  I also installed the grab fists so I can mount a shovel and axe to the jack.  My maul doesn't fit too well but the shovel is fine.  Guess I need to buy an axe that fits.

I spent some time on tax prep this morning.  I ned to have some figures available since I applied for the Paycheck Protection Program that is part of the stimulus package.  I'm not going to leave potentially free money on the table.  If it isn't forgiven, I'll just hand it back over to them.

I had Jodi work on a new logo design for my social media brand.  I think it fits the Nemesis name but my swag sales might be limited a little.  LOL  I still like it as it fits the name and my "evil" looking Jeep.

Jodi and I have been getting out walking around the lakes and neighborhood for the last couple days.  Yesterday, as we walked by the lake, we heard something making a strange sound, like a cry for help.  I thought it sounded like a small animal in distress so I stopped to look for it.  I jumped down in a culvert that drains to the lake and tried to pinpoint the sound.  Jodi said, "There's a snake!".  She had to point to it for me to see it as it was near the lake edge and when I saw it, there was a frog in it's mouth, almost fully swallowed, just the head and a little of the upper body sticking out.  I don;t care for snakes so I decided to free the frog.  That snake was going to have to find it's dinner when I'm not around.  The frog escaped back into the lake and the snake wasn't happy with me but at least I let him live.

After putting a little shine on the tires and getting the roll cage painted, an updated picture was required I thought so here it is.

I ordered a Currie Antirock for the rear yesterday and I'm hoping to see even more flex in the rear with it.  I still have trimming to do on the bumper and pinch seams but I'm hoping to go to a 15" shock in the rear when all is said and done.  

Got up early this morning and got some things done before heading upstairs to my office.  When I made it to the upper level, it seemed pretty cool.  Checked the thermostat and it was 65 degrees but the furnace was set to 73.  It was working fine last night and now this.  Luckily I have a HVAC friend who is coming soon to look at it.  

Our photo ab sent me some pics and video showing me the prints of my Jeep they are doing for me.  I can't wait to get them as they look fantastic.  My friend Nick saw what Jodi had made and wanted one made of our Jeeps together so Jodi made this one this morning.

Today, Jodi and I hit the garage to paint the rest of my roll cage.  Jodi is great at masking off things and has the patience for it.  Me?  No patience.  I'll attribute that to my ADD.  So, it was a team effort and we got it done. 

We got some light rain today which will help with the grass seed I put down in the backyard last night.   The temps were nice and the sun came out for a bit in the late afternoon.  It was comfortable to work in the garage in just a t-shirt.

We had a late lunch so now we will be having a late dinner.  Jodi will be fixing pork chops tonight along with potatoes, butter noodles and corn.
