While out scouting locations on Saturday, Jodi and I stopped into a mall to shop a little and we ran across a new store at the mall that we had previously seen in Sedona, AZ.  While there, we saw some masquerade style masks that we thought would make cool props at the studio but we didn't want to risk them getting damaged on the flight home.  The store at the mall had the same masks and they were also buy two, get one free so we took advantage of the sale and bought several.

Last night, we had some free time after JD left to return to school so Megan graciously modeled them for us.  I wanted to try some high key photography, so we shot on a white background using a three light setup and a white piece of foam core as a reflector just out of frame beneath Megan to bounce some fill back up under her chin to decrease the shadows.  I'm real happy with the results.  Clicking on the images make them appear at full size.

We also found a great, new location to take our clients and we're excited about having our first shoot there.  The site has several water fountains, flowers, and cool architecture that we can incorporate into our photos and it's only about 30 minutes from the house.
